Thursday:

1:45 PM– Cast members arrive at Staples to transport costumes toBedfordMiddle School

2:15 PM – 6:30 PM– Full run thru of show WITH COSTUMES atBedfordpractice room

2-5:30 PM– Full cast music rehearsal

Mr. Roth, Kerry, Brianna, Whitney and Andrew write lighting cues at Staples in morning – Ryan Malloy will need to be there for fly.  CAN WE HAVE PRINCIPAL ACTORS?

 

Monday

 

12:30 PM– Full cast arrives at Staples to get into costume and into mics

2 PM – 7:30 PMFull run thru WITH COSTUMES starts – light cues will be set during this run

3:30 PM – 7:30 PMBand arrives and rehearses with Chris Coogan in practice room – cast members run through numbers to the band as they are available

REHEARSALS THIS WEEK

All rehearsals this week start at 2 PM, NOT 2:30 PM as previously stated. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON TIME TO EACH REHEARSAL.

Those of you coming from the Bedford program, please get to Staples as soon as possible after your dismissal.

Rehearsals for the week of 7/18

A NOTE ON REHEARSALS NEXT WEEK:

All rehearsals next week will be FULL CAST

Monday and Tuesday we will rehearse 2:30-5:30 PM

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we will rehearse 2:30 to as late as 6:30, depending on how things go.

Jesus, Judas and the Tribe will be in costume on Monday – please arrive on time or early to get into costume.

Keep reviewing your lyrics, dance and blocking this weekend – practice makes perfect!

Please also sign up for a time to hand out flyers at the Fine Arts Festival – feel free to wear any other “hippy”-ish clothes that you might have in addition to your show tshirt – headbands, sunglasses, etc.

Instructions for tie dyed shirts

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR EVERYONE WHO TIE DYED A SHIRT TODAY:

 

1. Leave your shirt wrapped overnight. Take it out of the bag and put it on something that it won’t stain (a plate, etc) overnight – don’t leave it outside as it is supposed to rain tonight.

 

2. Tomorrow, rinse your shirt in hot water until all of the excess stain is out and the water runs clear – do this in the sink, not with other clothes in the washing machine! Remove the rubber bands before rinsing.

 

3. Fill washing machine to large load setting with warm water and a small amount of laundry detergent – wash this separately.

 

4. Wash the shirt separately from other clothes for the first few weeks.

 

These are the instructions that were in the tie dying kit – please be careful with your shirt as it can stain other clothes until the excess dye is washed away. Please let your parents know of these instructions!!

Due to the broken air conditioning at Staples, we will be relocating some of our rehearsals to Bedford Middle School (right across the parking lot – can be walked to from Staples), where the air conditioning is functioning. Some of the rehearsals will still need to be at Staples so that we may rehearse on our set, but we will do our best to keep you guys as cool as possible! The school is aware of the AC problem and a part has been ordered to fix the system. We are crossing our fingers that it is fixed as soon as it possibly can be!
