Save the date – support your fellow Players!

The Westport Woman’s Club invites you to be spirited into summer with an evening of live entertainment featuring performances by some of New York’s most promising rising stars! Come see WWC’s Waiting in the Wings Cabaret: Midsummer Night’s Dreamin’,  a magical, merry evening of classic and original songs and comedy sketches that salute the summer season on Saturday, June 25, at 5 pm and 8:30 pm.
A special BONUS is that as part of the evening’s lineup audience members will enjoy a performance by former Staples Players/SHS grad, Sally Eidman!  Sally recently graduated from Northwestern’s prestigious opera and musical theatre program.  Now living in New York, Sally is hard at work pursuing theatre and vocal performance and was a finalist in NYMF’s, Broadway’s Next Sensation contest last year!  While a Staples Player, Sally enjoyed many featured roles onstage and served as president of Players.
As was the case for the last Waiting in the Wings Cabaret, a few younger Westport performers will also take the stage for a brief performance.  This group will include SHS students Cara McNiff, Grace McDavid-Seidner and Emily Ressler; BMS student, Joe Badion; CMS student, Jack Baylis.
